My husband and I officially kicked off the grilling season this past Sunday. We fired up the grill, dusted off the rooftop deck, and cooked up some cedar-plank salmon and filet mignon for the in-laws. It was first time it felt like, dare I say, summer around here. It was hot, actually hot with the temperature hovering in the high 70s! I almost felt like I was in the twilight zone considering it was just a high of 40 two days prior. Anyhow, summer…bring it on!
P.S. Love the column detail in the second image. Rope has been calling my name recently. It's simple, natural, and textural and I'm thinking of incorporating something similar to this for a potential upcoming project!
